At Orange Pill App, our mission is to build thriving Bitcoin communities worldwide by connecting Bitcoiners with each other, local events, and the merchants who already accept Bitcoin. We are seeking a Director of Merchants to spearhead our global efforts in identifying, engaging, and onboarding these Bitcoin-friendly businesses onto the Orange Pill App. Your role will be pivotal in expanding our merchant network and ensuring they can fully leverage our platform to connect with local Bitcoin communities.

What You Will Be Doing

- Global Merchant Outreach
Identify and connect with merchants around the world who already accept Bitcoin, ensuring they understand the benefits of joining the Orange Pill App.

- Onboarding & Relationship Management
Guide merchants through the onboarding process, offer support as needed, and maintain strong relationships to ensure ongoing engagement with the platform.

- Showcasing the Value of Orange Pill App
Demonstrate how the app helps Bitcoin-friendly merchants reach local Bitcoiners, participate in events, and grow their customer base within the Bitcoin community.

- Community & Event Collaboration
Coordinate with local ambassadors and event organizers to highlight merchants’ presence on the platform, encourage community visits, and forge deeper connections.

- Feedback & Continuous Improvement
Gather insights from merchants about their experience using the app, share feedback with internal teams, and refine our offerings to better serve the needs of the global Bitcoin merchant community.

- Cross-Team Coordination
Work closely with our marketing, product, and support teams to develop resources, troubleshoot issues, and align on growth strategies for merchants worldwide.

- Business Development Experience
Proven track record of building and nurturing client relationships, with a focus on onboarding or expanding product usage—ideally on a global scale.

- Outstanding Communication Skills
Capable of articulating the value of joining the Orange Pill App to business owners of different backgrounds, both virtually and in person.

- Strategic & Organized Approach
Able to map out and execute a plan for large-scale merchant outreach and keep track of multiple ongoing relationships.

- Global Mindset
Comfortable working across diverse cultures, time zones, and markets, and excited about engaging with Bitcoin merchants worldwide.

- Startup Mentality
Adaptable, resilient, and ready to roll up your sleeves in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Compensations & Benefits
‍
- Part-time position (estimated 10–15 hours/month).

- Monthly base pay of $500 for the first 3 months, paid in Bitcoin, with adjustments based on performance after the initial period.

- Performance bonuses tied to membership milestones:
‍$2,000 bonus when we reach 200 merchants.
‍$3,000 bonus when we reach 300 merchants.
Additional bonuses for higher milestones as targets are achieved.
